OGL Computer, authors of the prof.ITplus business management software for stockists, distributors and merchants, has announced that it will launch its latest module for prof.ITplus, Business Intelligence, designed to rapidly provide key business performance statistics in easy to read dials and reports, in May this year.

Giving systems users the ability to rapidly monitor, analyse and correlate the wealth of live data held within prof.ITplus in real time, the Business Intelligence module will quickly present statistical evidence on which areas of the business are working well and which areas can be improved. This will mean that businesses can rapidly identify results such as profitable sales items or sales results over particular sales periods, and use this knowledge to improve relative business areas.

Business Intelligence will provide the user with a range of dashboards and reports that will present vital information generic to all businesses, such as Up to the Minute Sales Orders Taken, Top Ten Profitable Items this Month and Drill Down Reports for Sales Figures. The Module will also include information set and defined by the users themselves, for example Peak Trade Counter Times, Back Order Analysis and Warehouse Performance Monitoring.

The dashboards themselves will present this information in dials - like a speedometer display on a car dashboard - plus charts and tables, and will give a clear representation of the business data.
