Cyber Account Manager

Do you have previous sales experience in a cyber security or IT related setting? Are you looking to progress your career with a forward-thinking and exciting IT and cyber-security business?

Working within our cyber security division, CyberGuard Technologies, we are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Cyber Account Manager with a passion for technology to join our team based out of our offices in Kidderminster. Working within our successful Cyber Security team, you will predominantly be responsible for managing and building relationships within an active account base. These will be some of our most important customers and so you must be highly skilled in both managing complex accounts and cyber security services/solutions.

You will be introducing our portfolio of security products and services to generate new opportunities, identify customer needs, selecting the right solution and presenting in a detailed proposal and/or presentation. You will be closely supported by an excellent pre-sales function and admin support.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Managing up to 100 of our most important accounts.
  • Generate new opportunities and sales through upselling/cross selling into a trading customer base, arranging meetings, qualifying appointments, and sourcing the best solutions.
  • Deliver proactive account management with strong focus on the retention and growth of allocated accounts.
  • Develop your allocated customer base by generating new business opportunities from proactive prospecting, referrals and networking opportunities.
  • Identify up selling or cross selling opportunities, focusing on monthly recurring revenue services within allocated account workload.
  • Lead new customers in their Cyber Security strategy and promote our full portfolio of products and services.
  • You will be experienced in writing detailed proposals and able to present to and close with an excellent conversion rate.
  • Attain sales and retention targets, as set out within annual target.
  • Achieving KPI’s, regularly and accurately forecasting sales and opportunities to your line manager.

Skills & Experience...

  • Strong preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in a Cyber Security environment & having a demonstrable track record of target achievement.
  • Ability to demonstrate previous experience in proactive account management with a keen eye for details.
  • Ability to demonstrate a new business mindset.
  • Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trust environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security services including SOC, SIEM, Cyber Essentials and Penetration Testing.
  • Knowledge and experience of security products such as Carbon Black, DarkTrace, Kaspersky, Palo Alto, Alien Vault and Microsoft Defender.
