As a reputable provider of IT services with over 40 years’ experience in the IT industry, OGL currently looks after over 1,200 customers across the UK providing various types of IT solutions, support, software, and security. 

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Hybrid Account Manager to join our team based out of our offices in Kidderminster. Working within our Existing Business team, you will perform a hybrid role of establishing and building relationships with new companies and introducing OGL’s portfolio of products and services to generate new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing and retaining contracts for a small number of allocated existing customers whilst also up and cross selling new products and recurring revenue services. 

Many of our staff have grown their careers within OGL, and we will provide you with continued support, training on our IT products and services and on-going sales coaching. Key Responsibilities...

  • Develop your allocated customer base by generating new business opportunities from referrals and networking opportunities
  • Deliver proactive account management with strong focus on the retention and growth of a small number of allocated accounts
  • Identify up selling or cross selling opportunities, focusing on monthly recurring revenue services within allocated account workload
  • Attain sales and retention targets, as set out within annual target
  • Lead new customers in their IT strategy and promote OGL’s full portfolio of products and services

Skills & Experience...

  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in an IT environment and having a track record of target achievement
  • Previous experience of both new business and account management.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure solutions with experience of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trust environment
  • Excellent communication skills and manner
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
