A huge congratulations to Natalie Hinton who is the latest member of staff to join the Long Service Club. Having missed her 10 Year Anniversary presentation last year due to COVID, Natalie recently celebrated her 11th anniversary at OGL and was presented with an Amazon eVoucher and engraved glass trophy from Neil Morris on behalf of all the Directors.
Natalie looks back on the last 11 years:
“I started my role as Contracts Administrator; it was a joy to learn the role and gain knowledge and experience from the people in the department. I have always worked within the Contracts department and have always found it very interesting. I love problem solving and making sure everything is validated and correct.
“Technology is always moving forward and I, along with the rest of Accounts, have found the last 2 years to be a real job changer. It was only 8 months prior to lockdown that we actually made a switch from processing contracts via paper to a paperless office and processing contracts using DocuSign. If we hadn’t done this before lockdown, we wouldn’t have been able to work from home during the pandemic and it would have affected so many different departments – from Sales signing the contracts in the first place to the Contracts department processing them and the Service Desk supporting the customer during this difficult time.
“At the beginning of 2021 I was promoted to Team Leader. I really enjoy my job and to then be given the opportunity to help drive the department forward and putting in place some of my ideas while helping the team progress is really rewarding.”

“OGL never sits still and neither does the Contracts team!
“New technology and services mean new contracts, having to learn the new processes surrounding them and how they will fit into the existing portfolio. To be successful in this area of the business you need initiative, to be proactive and to be good at problem solving, all of which Nat has in abundance.
“Over the years Nat has proven to be adaptable when faced with these scenarios and the way that the Contracts team now operates is unrecognisable to when I first joined OGL.
“Nat’s hard work and commitment has led her to recently assuming responsibility for the Contracts team and she has already successfully implemented several positive changes both within the team itself as well as supporting other areas of the business.
“Congratulations on your 10 (11) years of service.”
