Mark provides critical information on how you can develop a strong Disaster Recovery plan including the key factors you need to consider and the options available to protect your data. Mark also elaborates on Offsite Recovery, OGL's new offsite backup and disaster recovery solution, explaining how it can guarantee the safety of your mission-critical data and IT applications in the event of a worst case scenario, while ensuring access to it within just 24 hours.

Mark Slater's career in IT spans 23 years to date, the majority of that time spent with OGL. Following a period specialising in UNIX and Microsoft consultancy, today Mark has extensive expertise with virtualisation-enabled disaster recovery and business continuity projects, most significantly developing and installing a solution which provides server redundancy to a major nationwide retailer.
