Redashe, founded in 1983 by Neil Redley is one of the UK’s largest hose reel stockists and suppliers, operating in four specialist divisions: lubrication, hose reel, automotive, and aerospace. Withover 40 years of trading experience and a diverse product offering, the company serves a broad customer base across multiple sectors, including providing aircraft-maintenance equipment and supplying Formula 1 teams.

After decades of steady growth and several consecutive record financial years, Redashe recognised that its software legacy systems were no longer fit for purpose. To support future expansion, streamline operations, and improve data accuracy, Redashe undertook a strategic transition to the cloud and browser-based ERP software, Profit4.

Historically, the business relied on two legacy systems, Pegasus and Prospectsoft. Over time, both platforms became significantly outdated, with updates becoming non-existent. Reporting was limited and integrations fell short of modern requirements. With banking integrations, EDI capabilities, and website links also outdated and insecure, the systems could no longer support the company’s future growth.

Since implementation, Profit4 has delivered significant operational benefits. The introduction of bin locations transformed stock management, and more recently the business has invested in OGL’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to begin improving accuracy across its two warehouses. The accounts team now handles all invoicing and statements through Profit4, while the sales team uses its powerful analytics for customer visit planning and monitoring top customers. The ability to generate accurate reports now supports both strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations.

The reporting feature within Profit4 has also helped shape the company’s approach to promotions and forecasting. The team can now identify which products are performing well within specific customer groups, run tailored promotions, re-engage customers who have reduced spending, and strengthen stock planning based on global supply chain disruptions.
