Julie Clayton celebrates 5 years at OGL Software

Julie Clayton 5 Year Anniversary

A huge congratulations to Julie Clayton who reached her 5 year Long Service milestone last week.

We caught up with Julie to find out more about her time at OGL so far…

“Living locally, I used to drive past OGL numerous times and always thought I would like to work here. I sent my CV to OGL years earlier but there was no opportunity at the time, When an agency enquired if I would be interested, I jumped at the chance to work for OGL.

"I spend my days chasing outstanding debtors and ensuring invoices are clear for payment, as well as resolving any queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices & non-payments, setting up payment plans for monthly and quarterly direct debits, and making the payment adjustments for any credits or additions to the contract. I also check customers’ credit ratings, reconcile accounts and negotiate repayment plans. I have also set up a new part of the direct debit systems to collect direct debits

"My favourite aspect of the job is working with a fantastic team and the challenge of meeting deadlines and targets. My biggest achievement is setting up a direct debit system to collect direct debits for invoices that need to be collected in full.”

Julie's manager, Gary Haynes added:

"5 years, where does the time go. When Julie first joined OGL she was part of the credit control team which was responsible for cash collection for the whole of the group. Julie now has sole responsibility for the credit control functions for OGL Software.

"Julie has not been phased by the additional responsibility. Cash flow is important for all businesses and cash collections are a key part of this. Julie works hard to achieve the cash collection targets. Having difficult conversations with customers isn’t always easy but Julie always strives to build positive relationships with people and assist with their queries.

"Thanks for all your hard work over the last 5 years Julie."
