OGL employees climb Mount Snowdon to raise funds for colleague
A group of OGL employees got together on the May Bank Holiday weekend to climb Mount Snowdon to raise funds for a friend and colleague who is battling cancer. The budding mountaineers set themselves a target to raise £1000 for Senior Credit Control Assistant at OGL Computer, Emma Selby-Pugh, but have already smashed that having raised over £1800 to enable Emma and her family to go on memorable family holiday.
1st Line Software Support Advisor at OGL, and organiser of the climb, Alex Rose, commented: “I am so pleased and proud of what the team have achieved – the walk pushed us to our limits but the thought of helping Emma and her family kept us all going.”
Fellow team member and Software Operations Manager at OGL, Charlie Grant added: “We couldn’t have picked a hotter day but the views were amazing when we reached the top and we had a great team spirit which ensured that no one got left behind.”
