Emily Smythe hits the 10-year mark at OGL!

August 15, 2025

A huge congratulations to Emily Smythe who recently celebrated her 10-year Long Service milestone.

We caught up with Emily to find out more about her time at OGL so far:

"I started on 1st Line Support and worked in this role for about a year before I moved up to 2nd Line User Support on profITplus. I have been in this role ever since, although I am now part time after having my daughter 7 years ago. I found out about the role through my dad Derek Lovell, who some of you may remember was the Fleet Manager here.

I enjoy the investigation element of user support, trying to find out what has caused the issue or why something has happened, even now I am learning something new most days! I also like speaking to the customers and get satisfaction from helping them.

I would like to thank all my colleagues who have helped me on my prof.ITplus journey over the last 10 years with all the hundreds of questions I have had to ask them. It is great to work with such a helpful team."

Emily's manager, Mikayla Price, commented: “Emily and I both joined around the same time, and since then, it has been a pleasure working alongside her. Over the years, she has become a vital part of the team, consistently demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to our customers.

She is known for her calm, focused approach and her ability to deliver results efficiently and effectively. Emily works diligently behind the scenes, swiftly resolving incidents and handling customer queries with care and precision. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile have made a lasting impact - both within our team and among the customers she supports.

Emily’s contribution over the past 10 years has played a key role in upholding the high standards of service our customers expect. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone and sincerely thank her for her dedication and outstanding performance.

Congratulations, Emily - here’s to continued success in the years ahead.”
