OGL Software has been enjoying on average 10% year-on-year growth over the past 5 years since the launch of its newest ERP solution for UK wholesalers, Profit4.

And 2026 marks two very special milestones; OGL celebrates its 50th anniversary in business and this month they also sees their 300th Profit4 customer go live, Leicester Bearings.
Leicester Bearings, also a family-run business, that specialise in the supply and distribution of all types of components and consumables across all sectors of industry, received special recognition on the day of their go live including a visit from Sharon Moreno (now Chief Operating Officer at OGL Software) who was Leicester Bearings original trainer when they first joined OGL using their prof.ITplus solution back in 2006.
Sharon commented: “Twenty years ago, those early prof.ITplus training sessions marked the beginning of what has grown into a strong and lasting partnership. The way prof.ITplus has supported and scaled alongside Leicester Bearings reflects what the right solution and the right teams can achieve together. When the time came to make a change, the decision was made to transition to OGL's flagship product, Profit4 and it's particularly fitting that Leicester Bearings are our 300th customer to go live on it, a milestone worth celebrating! Having been part of that journey from the start, I’m delighted to be part of the team marking this achievement. Here's to twenty years of trust, collaboration, and shared success, and to what comes next.”
Leicester Bearings made the decision to transition from prof.ITplus to Profit4 earlier this year. Jamie March, Managing Director added: “Our objective wasn’t simply to replace an ERP system - it was to build a scalable operational platform that supports the next stage of Leicester Bearings’ growth. After reviewing the market, Profit4 stood out as the solution best suited to our engineering distribution business, offering integrated stock control, purchasing, sales, finance and reporting within a single platform.
“Equally important was selecting the right implementation partner. OGL’s experience within engineering and industrial distribution, combined with their structured implementation methodology and long-term support model, gave us confidence that this would be more than a software installation. It would be a genuine business transformation.
“Together, Profit4 and OGL provide Leicester Bearings with a modern, integrated system that will improve operational efficiency, increase data accuracy, strengthen reporting, and create a platform capable of supporting continued growth for many years to come.“
Despite the challenging economic and global environment, OGL Software has remained focused on developing their Profit4 solution to deliver greater functionality for their customers who are seeking ways to drive growth whilst managing operational costs to protect their profit margins. In 2026, Profit4 introduces AI Insights which further enhances the product’s ability to support customers in making data-driven decisions using natural language processing. Coupled with further enhancements to their warehouse management solution and accounting features, Profit4 provides the perfect solution for UK stockists, distributors and wholesalers.
Andrew Davies, Chief Technology Officer commented: “Reaching 300 Profit4 go-lives is a milestone the entire team should be proud of, and as someone who was there for the very first, what excites me most is what's ahead.
“This year we're introducing AI Insights, so any user can ask a question about their business and find their own answers, without waiting for someone to build them a report. With continued investment right across the platform, from how customers manage rebates and run their warehouses through to tools for teams on the move, Profit4 is built around how our customers actually work.
“Fifty years, hundreds of customers, and now three hundred Profit4 go-lives later, I know one thing hasn't changed, we're here to help and support our customers.”
The team at OGL Software look forward to seeing Leicester Bearings continue to grow and thrive as they maximise their use of Profit4.
