The Role Overview
We are seeking a committed and organised Software Implementation Manager to lead the successful implementation of Profit4 to our new customers.
You will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of implementation and delivery projects (typically up to 20 users), ensuring that customers receive a smooth, structured, and professional onboarding experience.
This role involves:
- Leading a cross-functional team of project leaders, implementation consultants, data analysts.
- Coordinating project delivery from sales handover through to go-live, and handover to Customer Success
- Maintaining delivery quality while balancing resource, timelines, and customer expectations
- Supporting delivery scalability, ensuring consistent use of frameworks, feedback, and product growth.
- Driving team performance, providing line management, coaching, and day-to-day oversight
- Identifying risks early and ensuring appropriate mitigation steps are taken
- Championing the customer experience, with a focus on clarity, responsiveness, and successful outcomes
This is a key leadership position that plays a pivotal role in helping customers modernise and grow through a successful Profit4 implementation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a delivery focused manager who is passionate about project success, customer outcomes, and operational consistency. You should be confident in leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong grasp of system implementation and cross-functional collaboration bringing structure, clarity, and energy to the role, while supporting both customers and colleagues through transformation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS or software delivery, and will be skilled at driving performance, coaching teams, and balancing short-term delivery with long-term improvement.
You’ll be naturally organised, people-oriented, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced, customer-critical environment — with a passion for ensuring new customers feel supported and successful from day one.
You’ll also need to:
- Understand how business operations function across departments such as sales, accounts, stock, and logistics
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers, managing key relationships across internal teams and customers at all levels
- Be comfortable working with technology and developing a strong understanding of Profit4 and our delivery frameworks
- Lead by example while collaborating closely with peers and direct reports
- Stay organised and focused while managing multiple priorities, and people simultaneously
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the successful onboarding and implementation of Profit4 for new customers
- Own and improve delivery processes for projects using the existing framework
- Monitor project progress and intervene where delivery milestones are at risk
- Oversee resource planning, forecasting, and day-to-day team utilisation
- Support recruitment and onboarding of additional delivery team members as required
- Ensure high levels of internal documentation, risk mitigation, and consistent project handovers
- Champion the customer experience — ensure clear communication, expectations management, and feedback handling throughout the implementation
- Support continuous improvement of delivery materials, frameworks, and training content in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Provide weekly performance updates to the Head of Delivery, identifying opportunities and challenges in delivery execution
- Customer visits and onsite shadowing of your team is essential in this role
