Sukhwinder Chaggar
Director, Regent Distributors
Regent Distributors is a family-friendly business established in 1980. The company began with a focus on professional skincare solutions and has since evolved supplying a wide range of cleaning and catering products across the UK. Growth has always been at the heart of Regent’s vision, which led to their move into a larger facility as part of a broader strategy to become the leading player in the industry.
Regent’s current setup includes a main warehouse, dedicated office space, and the recent acquisition of the adjacent building to further expand storage capacity. In total, they now operate across 14,500 square feet, providing a strong foundation for future expansion.

One of the primary challenges Regent encountered with their previous software provider was poor support, often facing delays, along with inconsistent communication and response times. This significantly impacted their ability to resolve technical issues in a timely manner, which, in turn, affected their day-to-day operations.
Recognising these issues, Regent initiated a search for a new software partner. They were specifically looking for a provider who could deliver responsive, high-quality support, offer scalable technology to accommodate future growth, and demonstrate a commitment to building a collaborative, long-term relationship. This led them to OGL Software and our browser and cloud-based ERP software, Profit4.
One of the standout benefits for Regent since implementing Profit4 has been the integration with MaxOptra, a leading delivery route planning and optimisation tool. This integration has played a pivotal role in transforming their operational efficiency, particularly in the areas of delivery planning and order management.
By connecting Profit4 with MaxOptra, Regent has been able to streamline and automate several previously manual processes. Tasks that used to require significant time and effort, such as planning delivery routes, scheduling drivers, and coordinating order dispatch are now handled more efficiently and accurately.
At Regent, the team has fully embraced the power and flexibility of Profit4’scustomisable dashboards and workspaces. These features have proven invaluable in helping individuals and departments access the data that matters most to them, all presented in a clear, visual format that can be tailored to suit different roles and responsibilities.
Suhki comments: “One of the features I really value in Profit4 is the customisable dashboards. I’ve set mine up to align with how I work, and everyone on the team has their own unique setup. We’ve also created a variety of workspaces for different tasks. We switch between them regularly depending on what we’re working on. It’s a powerful system. This level of visibility is essential for making well-informed business decisions and gaining a clear understanding of our overall performance.”
Regent also benefits from a wide range of other powerful integrations which are available through Profit4, seamlessly connecting their key online selling channels, including Amazon, eBay, and their own eCommerce website. These integrations play a crucial role in unifying their sales and order management across multiple platforms.
Rather than managing each channel separately and relying on time-consuming manual entry, orders from all sources are automatically fed directly into Profit4 in real time. This not only eliminates the need for duplicate data entry but also significantly reduces the risk of human error. As a result, they can process sales more efficiently, improve order accuracy, and deliver a smoother experience for both staff and customers.
