Can you tell us about your job role?
My main responsibilities include providing support to our Software Account Managers and to customers when the Account Managers are out and about. I book all of the Account Managers meetings and I also handle ongoing projects we have as a team, among other duties.
What is your average day like?
Busy! Every day is different, but I also make sure to start the day with a huge cup of herbal tea! Generally, I speak to customers regarding queries and to book meetings. I also like to keep in contact with Matt, Martin & James while they are out on the road. I balance this alongside any projects we are currently working on and ensuring everything is as up-to-date and organised as can be.
What is your career background?
I always knew organisational and business roles would be best suited to me, but I had never directly worked in IT before this job. I actually worked in car insurance for 3 years and completed a Business & Administration Apprenticeship before joining OGL.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I am a very chatty person, so I enjoy speaking to a variety of people throughout my day.
How do you like to spend your time away from the office?
I have just moved in to my first home, so lots of cleaning and food shopping at the moment! Apart from that, I love seeing friends and family, going to restaurants and the cinema!
