Food: All food! My favourites are Thai, Persian or Italian

TV show: I'd have to go for Family Guy, American Dad or Paradise PD

Film: Anything from Quentin Tarantino

Song: Well, I don’t really have a favourite, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica was my wedding song, so at a push I'd have to say that. Other than that anything from my Spotify Metal, Rock or Indie Playlists (Iron maiden, Monster Magnet, Stone Roses etc.)

Childhood Memory: Being selected at the Wing Athletics Championship and coming second in the 800 metres and third in the 1500 metres

Can you tell us about your job role?

I'm responsible for our larger technical customers. I'm out on the road a lot visiting customers, helping them roadmap their IT, discussing solutions and coming up with new ideas to take their businesses forward.

What is your average day like?

It really can be varied. It's always busy and I'm always on the go! One day I could be on the road and the other I could be in an internal meeting to discuss new technologies.

What is your career background?

I joined OGL over 14 years ago as a Linux System Engineer within our Business Software division. It was noted that I was interested in Windows products and was offered the chance to go on a Citrix course. From there I moved over to our IT Solutions department and became a 3rd Line Support Engineer. I was seconded to the Account Management team back in 2007 and haven't looked back since.

What is the most common question you get asked?

That's a tough one. I don't just get asked one generic question from our customers as they are all different and we offer so many varying solutions. The most important thing is that when the customer asks the question, they fully understand the answer given.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Technology changes so quickly that it keeps me interested; it never gets boring. It might sound cliché, but I love learning about new technologies and recognising which new products would suit certain customers.

How do you like to spend your time away from the office?

Listening to music and going out for meals with my wife. I also support Aston Villa and the Worcester Warriors, so if I get chance I'll go and see them play. Other than that I enjoy cycling and running.
