Michael Czeczot Celebrates 10 Years at OGL

A huge congratulations to Michael Czeczot who recently celebrated 10 years at OGL.

Michael looks back on the last 10 years:

“I started at OGL as a Desktop Engineer on the North team and progressed in a fairly short amount of time to the role of a Server Engineer on the South team, before becoming 3rd Line for the South team, then 3rd Line for the entire desk. I was then promoted to the role of a Special Projects Engineer which involved managing (from a technical perspective) the most difficult, demanding or at-risk accounts. Following that I had a fairly brief spell as a Pre-Sales Consultant before becoming an Implementation Consultant on the EMS team and finally Implementation Consultant for the Planned Services team.

“I worked as an Implementation Consultant for Planned Services for around 2 years before Scott Willmott offered me a job as a Technical Architect within the R&D team around August 2021 – a decision that will no doubt cost him his hearing in the future.

“I have always genuinely enjoyed seeing the transformation of businesses as a result of the services that we have provided for them which is why I still enjoy my job even after 10 years."

Scott Willmott, Michael’s manager, congratulates him on his 10 years at OGL:

“When Mike joined OGL as a Desktop Engineer 10 years ago, I was still working on the service desk myself as a 3rd Line Engineer, and you would be VERY surprised to hear that during his first few months he was actually pretty quiet and you rarely heard anything from him – a far cry from the Mike we all know today!

“Mike is extremely knowledgeable and technically brilliant. Both are obviously great assets for his current role, but his enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck into finding a solution to a problem or working with something he has had no previous experience with is what makes him a real asset for the R&D team and OGL in general. Mike is a pleasure to have on the team, as long as we ignore the daily battles of the temperature of the aircon.”
