Matthew Meredith Celebrates 10 Years at OGL

A huge congratulations to Matthew Meredith, who is the latest member of staff to join the Long Service Club after recently celebrating his10th anniversary at OGL. Matthew was sent an Amazon eVoucher and engraved glass award from Neil Morris on behalf of all the Directors.

Matt looks back on the last 10 years:

“My cousin, Richard Meredith, started at OGL before me, and after nagging him at just about every family party, I finally had an interview!

“I started life at OGL within the Technical New Business Team making appointments for technical support contracts. During this time I worked with Jan Walsh, Lee Reece and Sally Watton and their support and mentorship meant everything to me and has helped get me on the path I’m on now. After nearly 3 years in this role, Jan Walsh made me aware of a new position targeting new customers with our (at the time) brand new product, SalesVision. Again, Richard was there to help and welcome me into the software division.

“From there I have never looked back! After a little while I became an Account Manager for our Software customers after Claire Jones made me aware there was a position opening. I feel really passionate about this role; not only does it offer me the opportunity to input into the software, services and approach with our customers, I also really get a kick out of visiting customers and providing solutions for their businesses. I’ve always been taken back by just how open our customers are to hearing our advice and taking our expertise to improve their businesses. Time and time again I have seen a customer implement a solution or new process, following our advice, and they have seen a very handsome return on their investment."
